We know that sometimes people want to know that their funds go towards some specific item for camp. In our site we have developed a projects "wish” list that will not fall within this years budget plan. Alumni like Doug Mann was great at picking one or 2 items a year that were on our wish list and he and Barbara funded that specific need, like the purchase of tables and chairs for the lodge, certain kitchen equipment items, washer and dryers, things like that.
We would like our projects list to be structured so each item would be fully funded at the time of your donation. In part, we don’t want to have a bunch of partial set aside funds just sitting there and not be able to move forward one of many projects. We will set up a pledge system so when enough Alumni commit to fund the total, we’ll send out notices that we have reached our goal and it’s time to make good your pledge.
